Dating While Black Podcast presents our Book of the Month Series! Exploring books about life experiences about victory, triumph, love, relationships, and life events are great ways to connect with others, expand our reading horizons, and engage in meaningful discussions.

WHAT TO EXPECT: We will conduct an overview of the book. Even if you haven't had a chance to read the book, you might find the discussion enlightening. During the event, we will share insights or revelations, discuss turning points and share interpretations of certain points/aspects of the book.

NOTE: Completion or purchase of the book is not required to join or participate

BEST PRACTICES: The zoom room will open early (5:45 PM Central) just to give you time to ensure your audio and video devices are working properly. We will start at 6:00 P.M. Central. Get the book and be open to sharing as well as hearing insights and revelations.

THE BOOK: In 1985, Anthony Ray Hinton was arrested and charged with two counts of capital murder in Alabama. Stunned, confused, and only twenty-nine years old, Hinton knew that it was a case of mistaken identity and believed that the truth would prove his innocence and ultimately set him free.
