Los Angeles, CA- Matthew Perry, the beloved Friends star was found unresponsive by his assistant at his residence earlier today. Perry is an accomplished actor who is most famous for his role as Chandler Bing on the hit sitcom.  This is a huge shock to the entertainment world. According to sources, no drugs were found at the scene and TMZ was informed that no foul play is suspected. Close sources report that he was found in his jacuzzi. The story is still developing and more details will come at a later time. Celebrities continue to share their heartfelt condolences as the word gets out about the 54-year-old's untimely death.

 

According to CNN, 

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey told CNN a 911 call came in at 4:07 p.m. for a water rescue emergency. Humphrey said it is unclear what body of water it was. LAPD officer Drake Madison would not name the victim but confirmed that officers responded to a home matching Perry’s address at 4:10pm for a death investigation involving a man in his 50s. Friends ran for 10 seasons with him being in all of the 234 episodes. Many of his film and television credits back to the early 1980s. He appeared as himself in a Simpson's episode. Before Friends Perry appeared on Beverly Hills 90210, Ally McBeal, Empty Nest, and Who's the Boss just to name a few. He will be missed!
